Hyderabad: An Intermediate girl from Miyapur area, who went missing after she left home for a party with friends on Sept 9, was found dead in Ameenpur hillocks on the outskirts of Hyderabad Tuesday morning.
Chandini Jain, 17, left home in the evening hours of Saturday last but she never returned home. She informed her parents that she was going out to attend a party with her close friends. As she didn’t return, the parents lodged a police complaint late in the night.
A search took the police to the hillocks at Ameenpur on the outskirts of Hyderabad city. Her body was found in a fully decomposed state. There were injuries on her neck and face, according to the police.
The police have handed over Chandini’s body to parents after the postmortem. The doctors said they will take time to establish the reasons behind her death as the body was in a fully decomposed state.
The family members said it was a planned murder. It was not yet known whether Chandini was subjected to sexual assault. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
