Rajini’s 2.0 Telugu version fetches Rs.80 Cr

Craze for Rajini is still intact across the globe

Hyderabad:  As actor Rajinikanth continues to rule roost in the glamour world, distribution rights of his latest movie 2.0 in Telugu states AP and Telangana were bought for a whopping amount.

According to reports, Asian Cinemas , one of the leading production and distribution houses, has purchased the distribution rights of the Telugu version of 2.0 for an unbelievable Rs.80 Cr. The movie will release in January next across the globe.

This is for the first time that such a record price has been paid for distribution rights of Telugu-dubbed version of a movie. The production house is sure that it would be a massive hit across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Director Shankar has used special technology to shoot the heroics of Rajinikanth and his fights with the villains. The graphics of the movie will undoubtedly draw huge crowds to theaters.

2.0, getting ready fast for a January release, is the sequel of Rajinikanth‘s earlier movie Robo which was an unprecedented hit across the world. 2.0 movie has been fully shot with 3D cameras and graphics part will be the main highlight in the movie made with high-end technology. 

With Amy Jackson playing the female lead and Bollywood super star Akshay Kumar donning the role of villain, the movie’s expectations have already reached peaks. The movie’s satellite rights in all languages have already fetched the producers a whopping Rs.110 Cr.
