Pennsylvania boy was working as volunteer when the tragedy took place

Robbinsville (NJ) : A minor boy fell down from a height of 45 feet while working on a structure in the temple complex of the famous BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir at Robbinsville in New Jersey State of the US, NJ.Com reported. The boy died an hour later undergoing treatment in hospital.

The tragedy occurred around 3.50 PM on Thursday, Aug 17 and emergency teams took him to Robert Wood Johnson University hospital at Hamilton immediately. But he succumbed to injuries after a while. Officials have not disclosed the boy’s identity as yet but he was said to be from Pennsylvania.

The Hindu temple was inaugurated exactly three years ago on Aug 17, 2014. But some of the works inside the temple complex are yet to be completed and some volunteers are participating in the ongoing works.

The 16-year old boy from Pennsylvania was reportedly working as volunteer when the incident occurred. Police have primarily established that it was a tragic fall but they said investigation would continue. There was no reaction from the temple authorities.
